LA once again comes to Boston in the 11th Annual Roxbury Film Festival with screenwriter Eric Meza, star Marla Gibbs, and Ava Duveny publicist and producer all in town to bring their filmmaking expertise to aspiring writers, actors and producers here in Boston. Each year the Roxbury International Film Festival (new name since 2010) works to bring in industry professionals from LA in an effort to have local folks have the opportunity to network and meet folks who have been through the LA process and help with tips and information on the movie making industry.
